I'm glad you'll love her. [Hanna finishes the rest of number four quickly enough. He seems to be gaining speed as he goes. He calls for another. You asked for this Maurice.] I guess I don't have to write a will then...but just remember. I wouldn't let meatloaf or Cyn...Cyd..Cydni or Cinder or Sally...man you like S's or C's a lot don't you?

_{[There's no stopping this train. Maurice warily reaches out to pat Hanna on the shoulder. He's not great at touching other people.]}

I'll even get her a little tiara to wear, don't you worry.

_{[He turns to drag Sally over into his lap, so that maybe Hanna could interact with the little blue spine rabbit and cheer up a bit.]}

I dunno, I just think I'm bad at girl names. I didn't think it through when I named my Houndour Cinderella so I just call her Relly. But now I have Relly and Sally and Cyndi so a lot of ee-ee soundin' names. I gotta...stop that. Or they're gonna get confused.

Why haven't I gotten her a Tiara? I'm a bad father...

[His head hits the table with a soft thunk and he sighs.] I'm not cut out for this.

But...I dunno. Call her Cinder and s'fine...or just think of celebrities. I wanna name a poker Beyonce. But. I dunno how Amelia would feel about that.

[He lifts a hand and gently pats Sally's head. turning his own so he can look at the Nidoran and it's owner.] You're so nice to me.

_{[The ex-pire's brows crease in worry again. He wonders if Hanna has ever owned a cat--a creature usually wicked and contrary by its very nature. However a cat wasn't an enormous pyschic squid.]}

_{[A note of worry worked its way into Maurice's voice. What if he'd been trailing around Hanna and not picking up any subtle hints he'd been tossing out?]}

[He's never had a pet before. Unfortunately.]

Huh? Oh! Right! Yeah! Totally!

[He sits up and almost pokes himself on Sally, leaning closer.] Guess what?

_{[Maurice's anxieties sit back in their seats as Hanna leans in. Both Hanna and Dee had now confirmed that he wasn't some creepy weirdo.]}

[He grins and raises a hand, dropping it down on Maurice's head.] your hair is pretty too.

_{[The suddenness and silliness of the gesture gets a loud snort out of Maurice. His fears finally evaporate and he laughs before lifting a hand to gently (but firmly) shove Hanna's hand off The Hair.]}

_{[Someone thinks he's COOL!!!!]}

[Hanna smiles right back and laughs with him, not even offended that Maurice was pushing his hand away. He tries to casually move it to rest his chin on, grinning at him with a stupid half lidded stare.]

I feel loads better. Probably won't tomorrow, but who gives a fuck, right?

_{[Sally's ears twitch as he worries ever so slightly about the humans he's now babysitting.]}

So hey I've been thinking--I kinda wanna collect all the dinosaur-looking Pokemon. Do you have any long-term plans?

Wait, really? [Hanna sits up and grabs for a ball at his belt, thankfully not Steven's.] Have you seen Tyra yet? She's so fucking cool....

And I think my only plan is to destroy the gym challenge. Like, I'm going to get my own battle theme and be a fucking pokemon master! It's gonna be great!

I saw your video of her but I haven't met her in person!

_{[He wants Hanna to show off a 'mon he's PROUD of...and also really wants to see a dinosaur.]}

That sounds pretty fun too...there's so much to do here. I could probably do both and have the KAIJU BADGE or something cool like that.

She's the sweetest. She bit me once and got really apologetic and now she's learned 'gentle'. [He let's Tyra out of her ball and the little blue dino-poke stretches it's little arms and smiles excitedly up at it's trainer before turning to Maurice. She's a happy little baby.]

It's cool that I can be cool here...I'm a loser back home. It feels like it's harder to fuck up when you've got these little guys looking up to you, yanno?

_{[Maurice's face splits into an enormous jagged grin. He turns on the stool and hops down so that he can be closer to Tyra's eye-level. Sally joins him and wiggles his nose in the dino's direction.]}

Oho man! You weren't kidding! She's awesome! Hey if she ever lays eggs, I'll totally pay you for one.

[Tyra, who is used to this kind of in your face interaction, butts her head foreward gently, pressing against Maurice's with a big toothy smile. She stomps back and forth on her feet and lets out a little roar. Tyra likes people.]

She's pretty gentle. Though I dunno if she'd lay any without a male...and I heard these guys are pretty rare here. But maybe!

[Hanna nurses his new drink and smiles down at his dinofriend, enjoying the interaction. It's cute...] One day when she's big and strong, she's gonna be a queen.

_{[He bursts out laughing at the headbutt and returns it in kind.]}

I've been asking around and like...I think most Pokemon can actually breed with each other, but the egg always takes after the mom.

_{[Maurice then looks up at that.]}

I thought Amelia was going to be queen.

Oh really? Huh...that's cool. Maybe if Tyra's okay with it I can see if someone wants to offer up for some breeding...Everyone should have a Tyrunt. They're fucking awesome!

[Hanna pauses at the comment though, thinking hard.] Well...uh. They can both be queen? Here, look. I haven't seen what Amelia evolves into but someone showed me Tyra's evolution and there is no way she wouldn't be a queen. Look at this shit.

[And he's pulling out his pokedex and searching up Tyrantrum, handing it over to Maurice.] She's gonna be a queen.

_{[He takes the Pokedex and brushes some of his hair out of his face to see it better.]}
